CAS Researcher Wins OCPA Award

  Overseas Chinese Physics Association (OCPA) presented awards to 3 Chinese researchers at the 6th joint meeting of Chinese physicists worldwide held on August 3-7, 2009 in Lanzhou, China.

  The conference was organized by the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), Lanzhou University, and the Overseas Chinese Physics Association.

  Gao Hongjun from Institute of Physics, CAS won 2009 Achievement in Asia Award, and Prof. Meng Jie from the Physics School of Peking University won the 2008 Achievement in Asia Award. Zhong Dongping from Department of Physics, Ohio State University won the 2008-2009 OCPA Young Research Award.

  Overseas Chinese Physics Association is a professional, non-profit organization chartered in the State of New York June 1990. It aims to promote physics research in general and to promote recognition of achievements by Chinese physicists in particular.
