The review meeting for opening subjects was held by the Key Laboratory of Land Surface Process and Climate Change in Cold and Arid Regions on Dec. 10. The panel was formed by members of the academic committee, and they reviewed projects which applied for the opening subjects in 2013. 

Based on the summaries for opening subjects over the years, the panel revised the funded manner, mid-term examination and final reply of the subjects. 

Finally, the panel selected eight from 15 projects to fund.
