Prof. Atsushi Tsunekawa and Prof. Thieb Y. Oweis with Tottori University, Prof. Enyew Adgo Tsegaye with University Bahir Dar and other four researchers visited Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute (CAREERI) from June 9th to 15th at the invitation of Prof. WANG Tao.  

They visited the Key Laboratory of Desert and Desertification of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Cold and Arid Regions Science and Innovation Museum with the company of the Prof. WANG Tao and Prof. XUE Xian, and visited the field stations of CAS. 

The purpose of Prof. Atsushi Tsunekawa’s visit is to communicate and discuss the desertification control and water resources utilization and management in cold regions, and negotiate about the international cooperation projects.
