Some members of the Working Group One of the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) visited the CAREERI and gave reports on April 14, 2014.

The Fifth Assessment Report indicates the climate change is more serious than people’s thought before. The report also reveals the global surface warming is due to the CO2 emission in 21th century.

Zhai Panmao gave a report on the Global Atmospheric and Surface Climate Change. Zhang Hua analyzed the artificial and natural radiation force. Zhang Xiaoye analyzed the influence and response of the aerosol-cloud to the climate change. Liao Hong gave a report on the short-lived greenhouse gases and cooling potential. Dong Wenjie estimated the connection and change between the different climate phenomenons.
