A workshop on Loess and the provenance of Asian dust will be held in Nanjing, Nov.27-28, 2013. The workshop will be hosted by Loess Professional Committee of Chinese Association for Quaternary Research, undertaken by the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Supergene Geochemistry of Nanjing University, and the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Coast and Islands Exploitation. 

The topics for discussion on the workshop are the provenance and evolution of loess and the Asian dust, people will communicate and discuss the achievements about geomorphology, sedimentology, meteorological observation and simulation, and the trace of geomorphology provenance with each other. The workshop will be last for 2 days. 

The meeting site: Xianlin campus of Nanjing University (Xianlin Road 163, Nanjing, Jiangsu)   

The time of meeting: Nov. 27-28, the time of registration is Nov. 26. 

The way to attend: Please e-mail your report title, name, unite, telephone number and accommodation intention (single room or standard room) to the organizer of workshop. 

The registration of workshop is free. The catering fees are supplied by the organizer during the meeting time, the cost of transportation and accommodation are provided by the participants. The cost of accommodation, which supply by the participants, is 360 yuan per day (standard room).
