Dr. Sergey Marchenko, who comes from University of Alaska, will give an academic report on the mountain permafrost in mid latitudes at the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Frozen Soil Engineering.

Title of the report: Permafrost: Formation, Distribution, and Modeling Temporal and Spatial Variability: Thermal and Mechanical Properties with focus on Mountain (Altitudinal) Permafrost in mid Latitudes.
