By use of the specific wind data of Tuotuohe Meteorological Station and field survey materials of wind-blown sand hazard along Qinghai-Tibet railway, this paper researched the wind-blown hazard and its dynamical environment in Tuotuohe region along Qinghai-Tibet railway based on the analysis of sand-laden wind and drift potential. The results are as follows. The directions of sand-laden wind vary with season obviously. The sand-laden wind has a singular direction in winter and spring, and its prevailing direction is westerly. The times of northeast wind increase in summer. Drift potential in Ttuotuohe region is 705.81 VU, so it has a high wind energy. The directional variability of the wind (RDP/DP) is 0.84, and the resultant drift potential is 590.42 VU with the direction of 89.1.
