Thesurface sensible heat fluxof Jinta desert was calculatedby MIX methods and FRE method by using the Large Aperture Scinillometer (LAS) data derived from  Jinta desert experiment, which was implemented from 11  to 30 June  2008. It was found that the MIX method is more suitable than FRE method as the sensible heat flux calculated by the MIX method can enhance the energy balance ration, and the Andreasparameter is better than De Bruin parameter in calculating sensible heat flux. All the results show a good consistence with the sensible heat flux derived from EC system in the same period.
