The variations of turbulent statistics parameters and the energy exchange near surface are investigated by using turbulent data observed at 3 m above ground in the upper reaches of Heihe River. The standard deviations of 3D speed, temperature and humidity fluctuation satisfy Monin-Obukov similarity theory. In the neutral stratification, both spectrum and co-spectrum appear to follow Monin-Obukov similarity and Kolmogorov′s prediction for the inertial subrange, but there are spectral gap in these spectra owing to valley topography. It is obvious that the sensible heat flux transfers downwards at night.
