Recently, the Middle Reaches experiment Data of “The comprehensive remote sensing observation associated experiment of eco-hydrological process on Heihe River Basin" (eco-hydrological remote sensing experiment on Heihe River for short) was officially released on the web site of “Heihe River Planning Data Management Center” (http://westdc.westgis.AC.CN/heihe). "

The professor Li Xin who studied in the CARREI, CAS introduced, the data of this issue include: aviation remote sensing original data and its products, the multiscale observation experiment data on evapotranspiration over heterogeneous underlying surface, calibration and validation inspection observation experiment data, eco-hydrological wireless sensor networks observation data and satellite remote sensing data, and so on. Users can use the data by application through “Heihe River Planning Data Management Center”.

The overall goal of "eco-hydrological remote sensing experiment on Heihe River " is to promote the capacity of observation to ecological and hydrological processes significantly in Heihe River Basin, to establish an international leading basin observation system, and to improve the application capacity of the remote sensing, which is in the field of eco-hydrology integration study and water resources management. The middle reaches experiment has been completed in 2012, which adopt the high density and strength flux observation matrix for the first time interiorly, also rare in international, and the achievement of which is to play an important role in scientific management of water resources and guidance for the water-saving in the irrigation. The data obtained in this experiment is handled according to the unified specification and processes, and is actualized the quality control strictly.
